K&N gone for 10 days now. NO STALLS OR SPUTTERS ON COLD START.
The stall or stutter on cold start problem happened 6 out of 7 starts. As soon as I put a new stock paper filter in, no problem. 10 days and counting.
I know 1 or two others had this problem combined with a K&N drop in. But some had it without the K&N factor.
This is not a scientific test just one man's observation. Please take it at face value.
The stock paper filter is cheap from your dealer. $20.00 or so. Try it out.
I checked to make sure the airbox was closed properly with the K&N in a few times. And the climate hasn't changed here either, nor does the place I keep my car.
Finally some of you may recall that my dealer thought they had this problem fixed by finding a loose sensor. It did not fix the problem.<p>Ivan

After I was singled out as spending more time here than anyone else, I decided to
screw with the ability to report such data by changing my handle.
But at least I've never run out of gas in my TT!
