Default K&N install and a couple other questions

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a place that will do a quick K&N filter install in the San Jose/Silicon Valley area? Also, has anyone put Duralube in their car? Is it alright to do it with the TT? I use to do it with my Honda and it was fine. Also, does anyone use fuel injector cleaner in their car? Thanks for your help

Hey Jon, let me know when you determine where the bloody thing is. I am a new owner, and have not had the engine cover off yet. My last machine was easy, I simply replaced the complete stock air box with an aftermarket one that came with a K&N filter. I see that Stratosphere (sp?) sells them for the TT for $55 bucks.

Default The K&N Panel filter takes about 10 minutes to install and all you need is a

phillips head screwdriver. As far as the duralube is concerned - don't waste your money on it. Just use good synthetic oil - 5-30 or 5-40 and change it every 5k.
