At full volume, the K40 beeps aren't as obnoxious as the V1 was. Keep in mind, this is Julie's car,
and we did the K40 so she'd not have a window unit or cords. I'd prefer hardwired Valentine One. Sensitivity seems right up there between my Passport 7500 (in my car when we're travelling around with two cars) and the V1 that she used to have in the TT. I think the V1 may be a BIT more sensitive, but the installation is first rate.
