Karma, it's real (audi content)
I've had a very good life and when ever possible have actively tried to pay it forward over the last 20+ years after I realized that my good fortune was due in no small part to the action of others. Last friday afternoon I stupidly layed my wallet and phone on the TT spoiler while I walked to the curb to retrieve the garbage cans. Had a senior moment, forgot wallet/phone, and proceeded to drive away to starbucks as planned. Upon arrival realized my mistake and drove the 6 miles back home hoping they'd fallen close to the house....didn't. Drove the route again to no avail and then walked about 1/2 mile of road looking for each but again no luck. Sat morning I walked the route again, this time 1.5 miles and there on side of the highway frontage road, just before the point where I'd decided I was going to turn around, was my wallet. Cash and ATM/credit cards (did appropriate notifications/filed reports friday evening) were missing but ID, photos, and TT club card were intact. Then this Wednesday I got a call from the water district that a crew member had found my phone. It was scratched and scraped but still works. To me, it's karma. To others, it may be BS, but I'm OK with this little bit of karma. A bad day in a TT is still better than a good day in just about any thing else.

Funny Thing about this.....
I try to be good to others and something about the same thing happened to me nearly 2 weeks ago.
I only drove 1/2 mile and then walked the same route and no wallet. It actually may have been stolen when I was not looking, as I also laid my on the spoiler area too.
My CC's and other stuff were never used. However, I am slowly getting my new cards and stuff back.
I just hope the person that got mine, really needed all the stuff in my wallet.
I am glad you found yours.

Dude, similar thing happened one morning on the way to work >>
I was going to work up the Merritt Parkway in CT and passed a previous generation Grand Cherokee and noticed that a wallet was sitting on the rear bumper up against the lift gate. I kept beeping and pointing at the rear of the car. The guy must have thought I was nuts! Eventually I signaled to get off at the next exit and he followed. He pulled in behind me and asked what was wrong. I told him his wallet was on the bumper. He looked confused and then realized that he left it there.

That happened to me one time with somebody in a truck with running boards
I was trying to be nice and alert the driver that their sunglasses were laying there, but they were a jerk and must have thought that I was some road raged driver, so they flipped me off and started cussing and yelling at me.
So I just followed them to Dick's Sporting Goods where they eventually stopped, waited until they went inside and then I stole their sunglasses off their running board. Serves them right--the emeffers. Now that's Karma, boy! And I still have those Eddie Bauers. Hahahahahahahahahahah!
