key stuck... manual transmission

Default key stuck... manual transmission
I have a 2000 Audi TT... my key is stuck in the ignition. I can turn the key to the "alternatir" position, but it doesn't start and i can turn the key to the off position but cant get the key out... i have lights, can turn rhe wheel... any suggestions out there?? Just got this about 3 weeks ago and has been running like a champ.

Presuming you have tried turning the wheel in one direction or the other when attempting to remove the key?
