klunk/clang/bing sound.
from the rear end.
i first noticed it when i put a bag in my trunk and closed it: CLANG!
then i was driving down the street and hit a bump: BING!
then i pulled into my driveway while downshifting and: KLUNK!
i've inspected the area of the TT's *** and have found that the upper tray/dish/muffler pan.....is making the sound. the pan is not loose...i checked all the external screws/bolts and they are tight. However, the pan itself seems to make the sound when i push it slightly. anyone know of any easy way to fix this?? i think it moves 1/10th of an inch and makes this sound.
ideally, the solution would be to dismantle the entire car. however for right now, i would be pleased to simply get rid of this sound. the "dismantling" mod hasn't really become fashionable yet.
cheers and thanks!

There are 4 cheezy sheetmetal "Nuts" holding that on....
I had a tingy rattle the other day and found one had loosened. The pan will only move up and down when one is loose, but enough to drive me crazy! Check em. On near each corner. 10mm...
