Knock Sensor Errors GONE!!
See where the big red arrow points...
(I grabbed this photo from Steve's Fotki so please disregard the circle around the temp. sensor.)

My neighbor still hasn't returned my Bentley (I broke down and ordered another one....grrrr...) but in the meantime... I really don't know what that line is or does. I do know that by replacing it, I have gotten rid of the dreaded knock sensor errors. Coincidentally, or not, the hose was broken so that the leak would have been blowing directly onto where the knock sensors plug into the wiring harness...perhaps causing the errors??
Now, the only code I get is P1386 - Int. Control Module Malfunction... hhhhmmmmm...
Also, did some readings with the VAG and figured out that cylinder 3 has been misfiring. Noticeable only under full throttle, gears 3-5, 3500+ RPMs. I just replaced the plugs but by swapping the plugs in 2 & 3 (which caused the misfire to move to cylinder 2) I have discovered that I have a plug that is either bad or gapped incorrectly. I'm getting a new plug tonight.
