Default LarryTT, a ? re door closing.....
I'm just reading some old posts. You close your door by using the glass of the window. Don't you think that puts a lot of strain on the window (as it's not supported by a frame at the top) and that eventually will lead to the glass getting loose and rattling in the door?

I use your methodology for trunk and hood (Bonnet and boot :-) ) but the door one seems a risky scheme to me.

I agree. I use back of hand against door handle to avoid torque on window

Default I close my door by putting my finger on the black rubber that rests against the window.
It only takes one finger to close the doors gently.

Default I grasp the door handle itself - without lifting it - to close the door from the outside.
No additional fingerprints. My husband thinks I'm completely crazy.

I confess... I have a 100% cotton wash cloth I use to close/open the door. :-D
