Lateral Stability Problem
Have a 00TTQC 180HP, bought it 11/28/03 w/ 18.7K mi.
Now have Blizzak 225/55/16 snows on it and have
noticed a problem at highway speeds. Car seems to
"wander about the lane" without any input to the
steering wheel. Particularly noticable when passing semi's and in cross winds. Seem to remember the
same problem with the stock 17" rims and tires.
Everything seems to be stock on the car. Am going
to take back to the dealer for service (Service! displayed when cad is started) soon. Is this "wanderring" normal, or what? Thicker anti-sways solve this? Any ideas? Car now has 23K mi. Other wise love it (-12 at house this am, tgfhs!!)
