Let me get this right: You can actually measure how good your MAF is with VAG-COM?

Apparently you get grams per second measurement from your VAG-COM. What reading can I consider acceptable, and when I should be replacing the MAF?

I already contacted Audi Germany, they have the 'E' MAF for 220 EUR, which is much cheaper than locally (340 EUR). The VW 'A' MAF is not any cheaper around here.
