Default A local TV show just did a review of...

<center><img src="http://www.scasso.com/autoshow/images/w8-engine-close.jpg"></center><p>VW's Passat with the new W8 engine. This engine looks to be relatively small and generates 272hp and 273 lbs-ft or torque.

What do you think, any way this could fit in the TT? That would be too cool!

If the mallet and pry bar are large enough, and the torch hot enough... anything will fit!

Default A chip and exhaust on 1.8t gets you close to those numbers with much less weight.

Presumably tuning will increase the W8 output of course.

I was just a little discouraged when I saw the W8 Passat comes in at ~4000 lbs. What good is it to increase power when you just eat it up with mass?
