Looking for some input on an idling issue....
For about the last couple of weeks the TT has had a rough idle - approx every 5 secs the RPM will drop from it's normal 500 rpm idle then catch and spike to about 1200 then drop back down, idle fine then do it again - it's almost like clockwork, you can count to 5 and it will do it again. No problems when driving, just at idle once the car warms up. Got a CEL last night so I guess I'll get it looked at - looking for any input as I always like to go to the shop reaonably informed - I searched and found a lot of rough idle threads but nothing that sounds like what I have.
haven't had a new MAF for about 20K so that could be it?

Post the code when you get it ->
You may only need to do a throttle adaptation. Other possibilities... upstream oxygen sensor, vacuum line disconnected. The code will be very useful.
