We've had another shooting here in MD and right on my route to work again. Authorities have virtually the entire Capital Beltway sealed off and traffic is gridlocked on all secondary roads. This is getting ridiculous! Beyond the horror of the shootings, this guy is starting to take a serious economic toll on the region. What's it going to take to catch this bastard?!?!?

Metro still works :(
As for what it'll take, either a lot of luck, or mobilize the National Guard and shut down the entire region at the next one.
Your point on economic impact is dead on (pardon the pun). This sicko(s) is going to cost us all major $$ and time before it's all done.

My parents live in Arlington, and my dad has "ordered" me to come out there for Thanksgiving.
I have so much work to do here though, and I am trying to find an excuse (other than my job) to not come out there. This may be it! "Sorry Dad, would love to but I don't want to get shot."
Not that I don't want to see my parents over Thanksgiving, but the project I am working on is supposed to wrap up during that week, and with the way it is going, I may be working over the holiday weekend.

It's almost as if the guy choose the spot intentionally to create more havoc...
he's got more on his mind than getting a rise out of killing people. Just seems like he's got a point to make and it is not that he can kill people. That's just he way of getting our attention.
