Looks like Lexus knows who they want to compete against
their ad shows a TT spinning out in a race against a Lexus. Are these cars really in the same class though - The lexus has a v8, 300hp, and costs 63k as a base price.
Aesthetically - it doesn't appeal to me - but the interior trim and AWD and ESP are fully comparable. Is 20k worth 75 hp? Or would you chip and exhaust your way to that for the 2k it would cost in a TT?
Loads more horse - and a lot of the refinements...

So you thought the commercial was the 2 dr. convertible, when I believe it is the IS300 which only
comes in a 4 dr version with about 215-220 hp? That is all. SOOOOOORRY for the confusion. Infomercial, Commercial, is there a difference other than the Info type is 30 minutes long?

baha!
the TT is the one with the ESP and Quattro, the Lexus should be spining out. Anyways, I heard a radio comercial for lexus, about giving a loaner car out, I wish audi would do that too.

I'm going to have to watch the ad more closely
Somehow it sticks in my mind differently. Course - it could easily be because I don't think of a 4 door as being comparable.

Lexus will do anything to make their cars look like the end all.
Remember when the IS300 came out..the ad showed it out handling the BMW 330i. Yeah ....anyway..
Funny how the German automaker ads show their cars gracefully being put through it's paces while Lexus ads always pit their cars competing against BMW or Audi. Their marketing sucks.
