Malfunction Indicator Light

Malfunction Indicator Light
I just bought a 225Q coupe a few weeks ago. After 400 miles the malfunction indicator light came on (steady yellow). I took it in to the dealer (an hour drive from my house) and they removed a small solenoid valve in the exhaust system, which they said was defective. I later learned that that part was not supposed to be on the TT according to Audi engineers who sent a different part. The part they sent did not fit my car so an adapter kit was also sent. One week later I was told my car was ready. After only 100 miles more driving the light is on again - now I'm getting frustrated. Has anyone else had this problem? I am dreading taking the car in for another week of repairs. Its been at the dealer more than at my house.

The only thing on the exhaust would be two O2 sensors .. .
one before the cats and one after.
Get the part number off your receipt and I can look up what part they put on and took off, or just ask them for the actual names of the parts in question. We have a resident Audi technician in Jason who can answer the question with the proper information.

Thanks for your reply. I will get the part numbers Monday. I had a hard time getting any details from the dealer the first time, but I didn't think the problem would repeat itself. I will post again as soon as I get more info.
