Default Malfunction Indicator Light

Three years and counting and zero problems with the '01 TTRQ. Now the CHECK engine warning light is coming on intermittently -- one day its on all the time then not for a few days. Can't get an appointment with at the stealer for 10 days. Any thoughts about what it could be? Have checked the obvious fluid levels.

Default find someone nearby with a VAG-COM, should tell you more about what's wrong.

post where you are and maybe someone will chime in.

could be anything...but most likely, a MAF issue...could be that the MAF is just dirty. I've cleaned mine twice already because of CELs.

Default Vacuum hose somewhere?

check the ones around the N75 especially. But def find a VAG. If you are out of warranty, the price of the VAG is recouped with saving your first visit to the stealership, usually.
