Master Airflow Sensor?

Over the weekend my OBD light came on and my TT felt like it wasn't running properly.

I brought it in today to the dealer and they replaced the Master Airflow Sensor. Can anyone tell me what this does and how it effects performance.?

Restricts your power limits the air flow. Ruins your performance.

Yeah, that's the first thing you'll wanna get rid of when you start moddin.

Are you saying that I don't need a master airflow sensor?

My car began ranning poorly when the OBD light came on and the master airflow sensor went bad.

It tells the computer how much air is coming in, and consequently, how much fuel to squirt...

It's just a lousy part with a high failure rate. Those of us that are heavily modded have a few on the shelf...
