Default Meaningless yet interesting factoid regarding the TT / Boxster interior 'comparison'

Both 'interior systems' (excluding the seating systems) are made by the same company (a german company which was bought by a private US company early last year)!

Such a system on a more effieciently manufactured vehicle is generally supplied as a package and includes the dash, door moldings, headliners, consoles, etc. Depending upon the contract, the supplier MAY also take delivery of components such as guages, etc. and subassemble dashboard modules, door subassemblies, etc. before delivery to the auto maker.

The Boxster has a cheap-plastic look. Not necessarily cheap plastic.
