I think it's only disconnected in the roadsters

...if I remember correctly, it was too difficult to adjust it so that it wouldn't go off all the time when the top was down.

I vote for Barbie-pink neon. Wire it to the headlight flashers. Great effect.

Serious question: Doesn't neon require glass tubing? How do you protect it from damage? I haven't looked under a neon-equipped vehicle to find out. I guess I'm too embarassed to do so.

Too bad we don't have hood mounted squirters..but how about lighting up the aliens' eyes?

Who parks with the top down?

Maybe it's just my location (Boston), but I never could understand the point of that. Crap gets in the car, the seats get sunbaked, people poke their noses (and more) inside...
