Mike, thanks for the tip on Toshibas.....
I saw one of the H82 models the other day and was impressed. What are the major differences between the H82 and H81 lines? The salesperson really didn't know (which wasn't a surprise).

Very tough to say right now.
The small issues, slightly better guns, slightly better screen. But doubt you would see the difference.
The 65" come apart into 2 pieces.
Different cabinet.
Big issues:
I does not upconvert 480p, which mean nothing to you.
And it is DVI capable. I won't even get into that in detail just that the powers that be want to make High Def TV only avaivible using DVI to prevent recording and setaling of movies. But there is a HUGE debate wether that will happen or not. Big fight, FCC is involved.
If I were you, get the 82 if it not that much more. Ther are supposed to be cheaper then the 81's were last year, but you might be able to get a great deal on a 81. If you do get an 81, try to get the HX81 instead, that is a little better then the H81. Probably about the same as the H82.

Also, let me know the price you get, I got a buddy over here that owns a store that can get the cheap. He ships to NJ for around $100 with no tax.
