Actually, I switched to blue hot-wirez a while ago, but when I had the multi color angel eyes they were made from LED's and an acrylic rod. I wired up a 2-way switch that would go from red to blue.
With RGB led's, the color choices would be endless.. but really, to get a good look you need a whole wring of them and that would get expensive.
I'm thinking about switching to a solid wring of white soon, just haven't found the time.

You should check out HN concepts Cold Cathode version.
