I think it is ridiculous that Colin Powell is being loudly criticized for suggesting that sexually active young people should use condoms. Apparently, many in the party feel that abstinence is the only viable solution.

My response? Get your heads out of your asses and get real! Whether you agree or not, the reality is that many young people ARE sexually active. Couple raging hormones with a general lack of maturity, and we both know what's going to occur.

Preventing sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies should be everyone's ultimate goal. Failing to intelligently discuss various methods of contraception could ruin many a young life.

Those with more "conservative" (i.e. ignorant and naive) views on the topic need to get a clue.

I think she's using her mother as the role model. She has 5 bro/sister's already with another on the way.

She wants a baby of her own... she said something like that to my wife.
