Default That IS the answer - look NO further! ;->
well, just a bit: it seems to not do it at idle, just at city driving speeds, rpm related perhaps, but no surging AT ALL on the engine. Been intermittent for some time now. Sticking condensing unit valve (DOES make sense)?

I AM (ha!) and it's real 'resonance' with the a/c on, but NO, that's another issue, one that I can tweak, I hope! This is the damn fan, swooshing and swooshing, speed increasing/decreasing, cycling over about 15 or 20 seconds. I can live with it, but would prefer not to!
