My car hit 50k yesterday. I finally put all my stats into a spreadsheet (I record mileage, gallons,
$, etc. at every fillup).
Some interesting stats:
Pre ****, the dash computer overreported fuel mileage an average 3%.
Post **** it overreported 16%
With a 15% correction (max allowed via VAGCOM) with the ****, it overreports 1%.
My best tank of gas got 30.1 mpg
The most I ever drove on a tank was 428.4 miles
My most expensive tank of gas was $72.50 (100 Octane)
Cheapest Gas: $1.179/gal - 11/20/02
Most Expensive Gas: $5.199/gal (100 Octane) - Since May 2006
I have spent $4899 to go 43900 miles (bought it with 6100 miles on it), for an average fuel cost of $0.113 per mile.
Biggest fillup was 15.869 gallons (225 quattro roadster)
Most miles in a 7 day period: 3164
My miles/year have gone up almost 100% since finding AudiWorld (8000 miles/year first two years, 14k/year since)!
I have probably spent 50% as much on mods as the purchase price of my car - all since finding AudiWorld....
Happy Labor Day - I need to go change my oil...
