have you checked your oil? This much oil useage is fairly common during break-in time

Default Have you actually checked the oil level?

It is VERY likely the car is low on oil. My guess is 90% of all cars driven off ANY new car lot are low on oil. The techs performing the pre-delivery check barely do anything, let alone check the fluids.

If your oil light came on, you could be as low as 2 quarts. Check it now and pour ANY oil you have into the engine(assuming it is for a 4 cycle engine. )

Default At 16,000 miles on mine, I've come to know that little light pretty well >>>

I'd say I add a quart every 1-2K miles.

RTFM, says to add by 1/2 a quart at a time. Be careful not to overfill!

Default Had it in at ~9.5K for the 10K service >>>

Problem list:

> Consumes oil rapidly.
* Normal

> Windows roll down on their own.
* Couldn't replicate problem

> Trunk light works erratically
* Couldn't replicate problem

> Driver's side mirror is wobbly (unusable at speed)
* Mirror is within spec

I'm about to take it in for a 15K (not scheduled) oil change, at which time I will have them look at all of the original requests, and add that the front (left, I think) suspension creals loudly, and a lot.

So far, luckily, I've not had any problems with fuel senders, MAFs, DVs, etc...
