My TT arrived today!
Here is the scoop:
2001 225 quattro 33k miles
I bought this car thru the ebay..yes thats right..ebay. From a dealer in Colorado. The whole experience was flawless...buying a car was never so easy. I bought the car knowing it had a chip and lowered suspension. After purchasing it I was able to contact the previous owner who happend to work at an audi dealership.
I found out the specs of the car:
Bose Premium
Heated seats
MTM Stage 1 chip
LLEK cold air intake
B&M Short shifter and **** (i need to change the ****)
Forge Intercooler
Samco Turbo Hoses
And Coilovers
Upon recieving it I found some extra bonuses.
Xenon Headlights!
Clear bra (which i was planning on getting anyways)
and I looked under to find H&R coilovers.
The exhaust looks stock.
It drives so well! The suspension nice and stiff...corners so great!
Woowee wow...I got a deal.
Shipping was free..so cant complain there.
The bad:
The car had 600 more miles than the dealer said. I spoke with him and he said that is really strange and he doesn't think it left him like that. He will double check the paper work, but the paperwork i signed and the ebay auction is definitly 600 miles less.
The second thing is 2 of the rims are scraped up. From the picture in the auction it looked perfect..so who knows. I'm not a fan of the 5spoke anyways.
Besides those 2 things...the car runs and sounds great. I guess I need more time behind the wheel.
Not sure if i should press the milage issue or if i should be happy the car came in such good condition. What would you do?
The car is still under warranty for 6 years 100k miles.
One question I have..is the Headlight washer stock? or was that an option? If its stock..how do I turn it on. I read the manual and turned on the lights and use the wipes..but doesnt seem to do anything.
I guess now i can update my sig with a picture of my car!
UPDATE: I found out the aliens are no longer working because of the forge intercooler....i can live with that trade off

The 600 miles are worth $74
See edmunds.com and do an evaluation with the two different mileage.
You could probably shake the dealer down for $250 or get some free stuff, by threatening to report them to BBB, small claims court, etc. They should offer to "make right."
The headlight washer automatically comes on if you wash the windshield with the lights on. Takes a few seconds.
I got my TT on eBay also and got an amazing deal. Its a risky way to go, but the rewards are there if you do your homework (both on the car and the seller).
