Nails on rear tire... anything I should know before I take it to the shop ?
A while ago someone warned that caution should be taken while taking out the tire... I am kind of nervous about this. Help !!!

Yes, do not let the tire shop use a plug.......
........Have them dismount the tire and use a patch on the inside. This is the only proper way to repair a hole in a radial tire.
Jason Dale

My caution is to examine your wheel carefully before you have anything done with the tire. If they do install a patch, it will mean removing and remounting the tire... which could cause damage to the edges (rim) of the wheel... Be sure you get assurance that the place you bring it to be repaired has the proper equipment to mount the tire, and balance it... without causing damage
2001 225 Quattro Coupe Silver / Ebony
