Default Is it necessary to replace Diverter, stock ok at 75K

Was contemplating replacing the stock diverter with a forge 007P. I have a 180Q with a BMC CDA (exhaust to follow, other thread).

I have had no problems with the stock and approaching 75K.

Any advice?

Default If it ain't broke...

If you aren't chipped or chipping soon, I wouldn't bother. Seriously, not if it works fine. Another alternative cheaper than aftermarket might be to upgrade yours to current spec, the 710N part, if you don't have it in there.

Default ...don't fix it

words to live by

If it does tear, it makes a funny honking noise but doesn't do any harm other other than leak some boost till you get a new one.
