Need Advice re: Driving School
Can anyone recommend a driving school within a day's drive of Asheville, NC? Not to become a race driver, but just to become a better driver. My wife and I are both interested in doing this. Several years ago, I attended a two-day event sponsored by Audi in Atlanta and learned alot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I can't recommend a school in the area, but when you do find something make sure it's what you want.
The "school" I went to wasn't. It was just driving around a track as fast as you can. I was very disappointed.

Skip Barber has some driving schools in Sebring, Fl.

http://www.trackschedule.com. Look for Roebling Road or Road Atlanta events...
Roebling is near Savannah, GA (possibly too far). Anyone in NC have any advice. I know there are tracks there.
Also look for local Porsche Club of America, BMW Car Club of America, and of course the venerable Audi Quattro Club. http://quattroclubusa.org
