Default Need help with this...

I just installed the Samco intake hose yesterday and was re-routing some hoses today and came across this. <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/84508/picture_040.jpg">
What is this "Y" connection coming out of the FPR? You can see that the connecter for the hose I disconnected is pretty flimsy but it is also plugged by a brass insert so nothing is going through it anyway. What is this disconnected line for? Should I replace the "Y" or just leave it? This isn't a normal "Y" with that brass insert in it, so where can I get one of them? TIA

Default I am the original owner. I thought it was for the boost gauge...

I had AWE install it for me so I didn't do it. Any issues with that "Y"?

Default for a boost gauge. looks like the AWE one...

take off the gray hose attached to the FPR and re-route the black one directly into the FPR. and unplug the plastic y as well... be careful to not snap it...... or get a boost gauge and run the hose right into the open end!

Boost gauge is fine, no issues whatsoever.

Default It is the AWE vent mount BG. So let me understand this...

I route the black hose directly into the FPR (as before BG) and run the BG hose where?

Default that's only if you pulled the boost gauge from your car. attach the boost gauge

hose to the open end of that y splitter. otherwise the gauge will read no boost pressure....
