Need help for Speaker change

Want to change the factory NON-BOSE speakers. I heard that the bose package will add a subwoofer to coupe. is it true? (it says optional 7-speakers). My car:04 TT FWD. The factory speakers have no sub and doing bad bass. Just wanna replace better ones with better bass and maybe a lil louder. Where is a subwoofer suposed to be put in coupe? without sub, what speakers will get me louder bass and better sound quality? And what the size of the speakers of both front and rear for 04 coupt FWD? Please help me with my first mod and send me picutres of removing the front and rear panels of COUPE, thanks a loooooooot~

Re: Need help for Speaker change
Hey, I'm not the expert, but have beefed up sound in my VWs and Audis...leave the stock rears...better quality speakers in the stock openings will not change bass that much....your best bet is to just add a small mono or 2 channel amp and a small sealed box with a 10 inch woofer or a tube woofer like a bazooka. You can hide the amp almost anywhere and wire a simple plug connector on the subwoofer for the times that you need more trunk space. This gives outstanding bass and frees up the radio power for the stock speakers.

you'll need an aftermarket sub in an enclosure... no stock location for a sub in a coupe
Bose audio upgrade doesn't come with a sub either. BTW is that your car I see parked by the arcade off 3 Rd behind the TD Bank/Staples Business Depot on Saturday?

I 've been looking for those smalls for long
but haven't got any ideas. I saw some sub tubes, their frequancy response seems not to be low enough, 80HZ for most of them. will that be a good upgrade? I just know some speakers have lower response frequancy. If that works, i will better go with tube to save the trunk space. thanks
