Need Help Unplugging Fans
I am in the middle of one PITA job of replacing my two radiator fans.
I have them almost out and cannot figure out how to unplug the fans.
Here they are plugged in:

Here are 2 pictures of the new plugs.

I'm stuck.

Actually looks like the backend (the otherside of pic 1) is what gets unplugged
Once unplugged you and slide your new plugs in. Hope that makes sense. I think the items you are replacing are supposed to be the items that are plugged INTO.

Gotta Apart......

Yes, it was the back side that came out. It seems if you look at the two plugs they are male and female. I slid them together and reasoned that the rear part would need to come out and then the two fan plugs would slide up. Much simpler to write than do.
Notice that the part on the car that the plug slides into has a barb at the top.
None of this is in Bentley or posted anywhere, so new ground.
To get to the fans and get them out requires that the intercooler pipe be removed and the hard pipe next to the intercooler pipe be moved. I have a relocated oil cooler and have two steel braided hoses that are also a pain to snake this thing around.
I'll take a few more shots of the fan and post a write-up later.

Done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just finished up. Changed oil while it was up in the air. Will do a write-up later.
This job is about a 9 out of 10. A dealer would have eaten me alive due to having a relocated oil cooler. Just messing with those hoses costs an extra hour or two.
Going for a ride in a bit. By the way, cranked it up and both fans start spinning.
