Default A new day a new concern.

I was driving today on the interstate and I felt like giving the ole TT some juice.

I was going 80 or so in 6th and just hammered it. It immediately woke up but it shuddered once I was holding boost for a bit...

I'm currently GIAC91 chipped with a boost machine holding around 20psi.

Could it be my MAF?

Default As XCLR8TT said, coilpacks are the likely suspect >>>

VAG the car for misfires on any cylinder(s) and replace those coils. Or replace all.

Default Misfires are logged?

If so, cool... that'll answer my questions.

They should make a damn TT tuneup kit, it would include 4 coilpacks and a new maf.

And you could by them in bulk...

haha.

Thanks for the really fast replies guys.

Default Yes. You will only get a CEL if the misfire lasts for several seconds. But even a single misfire

will show up when you download the codes.

Default could also be the harness to the coilpacks.

insulation cracked and wire visible. My 2001 had it and there's beena few more on here lately.
