Default There is no factory radio options for the current TT

Most have added an aftermarket unit. I find the best ones to be hardwired into either the FM or sometype of Aux input- but other will tell you more that have done it. Honestly I have found that replacing the headunit on the car is the easiest way for most to start their car audio project. Using the factory speakers and amp, and getting a head unit that has either XM built in with a tuner box, or one that has an AUX input to hook an external unit to it.

Just my 2 cents

Default Check out the FAQ, a couple audio write-ups in there . . .

several options for XM. I pulled the stock head unit and replaced with one that had XM built in.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1389261.phtml</a
