Default New Member & Vibration Question

I purchased my TT over the holidays and I'm hooked!! Look forward to this forum.

Question: I am hearing some vibration at around 2200 to 2300 RPMs I think in the exhaust area in the back of the car.

Anyone seen (heard) this and any ideas to fix??

Default Re: New Member & Vibration Question

I think its a fairly common fault, although I get the same problem at slightly higher revs (3000-3300).

I have been told that there's nothing that can be done about it

Default Could be a few things....

If the search feature was up, you would find a plethora of info on this topic....

People have reported the rear privacy shelf rattleing or vibrating..of course this is only on the coupe.

Others have reported the noice emmenating from your fuel tank. The Audi's have a fuel tank pressure pump.

Make sure the rear removable tail light access panels are nice and snug.
