Default Is this the new Scirocco??...

Just thought this was really interesting. Last I read there was no plans to bring the new VW Scirocco the the states. Well a guy local to me (Tampa Fl) posted these pics on a local german car forum. He saw the car driving down the causeway toward Tampa and he clicked the pics because he couldn't figure out what kind of car it was.

Looks like a poor fit where the hood meets the fender.

Default yeah i don't really like that...

it's like a really girlie version of the TT shooting brake concept they had a few years ago...maybe it's the colour that ruins it (white).

they've also stolen all sorts of ideas from the Brera, and fAILED!

interesting story though...wonder why it is in the US...maybe just testing OR it could be an employee's or diplomat's car.

Default The IROC can look sweet with votex kit and wheels ;)

I didn't like the new Scirocco at first but the looks have grown on me. Best thing about this car is its performance over the GTI. The new IROC only weighs in at 2862lbs, it's wider and lower than the GTI. I'd consider that car if VAG bought it over this side of the pond.

Unfortunately, test mules are all we'll be seeing.
