Yep, dealer-western Massachusetts.
Included were battery replacement in one key and 70K service, as well as requested diagnostic work, ie a mysterious sound like valve clatter (unlikely w/hydraulic setup) that disappeared after the service.

Any more info on that 'valve chatter'? (more)
My car has had an incessant sound very much like 'valve chatter' since I purchased it. I've noted that this sound is not present on other 180's, but it doesn't seem to be indicative of a real problem ie., in over 58k miles, no issues.
You could hear this sound only when the hood was up (at least hear it well)? Any idea what they did to fix it?

I could hear the chatter at ~3000 RPM, no load. The mechanics never heard it. Now that the belt, pump and tensioner have been changed I can hear nothing.
FWIW, I would have suspected the chain as the noise source, just from the sound, but again, it doesn't seem to be prestent.

When I had my 180 TTQC I had a clatter. When I complained about it the dealer put an additive in at service time. The Chief Mechanic there, whom I trust, said Audi did not recommend the additive, but he used it because it worked and did not harm the engine in his view.
