Default addams family was the most popular pin ever with over 20K made

it's certainly a great pin but the theme never resonated with me since i never liked the addams family show.

Default 70 and sunny again today. can't complain :-) most of my life is in boxes ...

but it's coming along. one irritation: the water is about twice as hard as boston, which means twice the consumption of cr spotless resin. also, i think the damned landscaping guy is wasting my filtered water on the flowerbed :-(

how are things in boston?

Default got it. that's pretty much how i ended up with my other pin (machine: bride of pinbot)

but between then and now i've become a bit more o.c.d. (sigh) so i really needed something with a pedigree this time around. treasure cove has an awesome reputation for pinball restorations, so i went with them even though they're blood money. (truth be told, when i stumbled on the attack from mars, i was actually looking for a shop to restore my other pin to showroom state).

Default I just wanted something to play, which a resto would a bugged me to do..

It'd be more like artwork and less like a game, so I went the cheap route originally like you did. I had thoughts of tinkering (bought a lot of replacement parts and did a ton of refurb already) but the playfield scares me. I think I could do it with space and time, but I have a lack of both right now. Eventually it might be fun.. the rest of the game (backglass, top glass, cabinet, etc) is in fair to good condition, but the playfield is rutted in many places.

I'll go the same route with the next pin and have matching crappy games that play

Default I'm looking forward to 70 here! ahh, back to summer wheels

Boston is great, I took a personal day and gave the TT a thorough workout on the way to Vermont yesterday, gave her a much needed bath tonight.

You should set up a series of 1/4 turn shutoffs to bypass the water around your filtration unit when you aren't using it.
