New twin-turbo BMW coupe?
Talk about timing. BMW has hit this one out of the park. I am impressed.<ul><li><a href="http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/futurevehicles/new3coupe/press.htm?source=3COUFMA">A good trade-up for many of us.</a></li></ul>

Seeing as the mk2 isnt really an option. Not with 250 max hp now days
Just keep seeing all of what should be the TT's rivals having at LEAST 300hp now, and the TT only having a pathetic 200-250hp. Come on, even the damn camry now has more hp. I think just about every car coming out has at least 200hp, and the TT is supposed to be a sports car? Sorry, not anymore.

I must be getting too old. 300 horses is major to me...
With the 3.0L engine, I am guessing that the response of the engine will be quite robust. It's more than just the raw numbers. I quite like the idea of driving a torquey turbo six cylinder.
Horsepower relates to top speed. It's a number for braggards and advertising execs. In everyday driving, which will be far from "wide-open," I am guessing that the twin turbo will be impressive... and, well, "robust."

Ummmm, no (edited)
There hasn't been a 328 since 1999/2000 when it switched to the 330 and the 323 switched to a 325. And all the reports are a twin turb 3.0 liter called a 335, no talk of a 2.0 liter anywhere. And currently you can only get an "x" or AWD in the sedan but they are going to make it available on the coupe in addition.
** Looks like they are going to rebadge the 330 back to a 328 in order to make the difference between it and the 335 look larger. They did the same thing in 99 with the new E46, they called the one with the 2.5 a 323 in order to make the 328 look more appealing. Then once they bumped up the HP on the 328 and renamed it a 330 they renamed the 323 a 325. Used to be so straight forward.
