If I was shopping for an Audi TT Convertible, what exact car am I asking about, TTi, TT Quatro, etc.
Also, is there a good place online to shop for a used Audi TT convertible?
thanks,
1) 180 Horsepower Coupe and Roadster (Roadster is the Convertible)
2) 225 Horsepower Coupe and Roadster
3) Quattro is Audi's name for all wheel drive. It is an option on the 180 hp coupe and standard on the 225 hp coupe and roadster. The 225 also has a 6-speed gearbox and many different engine modifications compared to the 180.
4) If the car isn't a Quattro, its front wheel drive. On the 180 roadster, I believe either FWD or Quattro isn't an option, though I can't remember which. Someone will surely correct me here.
So, many of us use shorthand for models: TTQ is TT Quattro; TTQ C is TT Quattro Coupe; TTR is TT Roadster; etc. etc. Not sure where to buy used online. Welcome!

Go buy it new, the used coupes that I have seen go for sale were 4000 dollars over MSRP.
The convertible version of the TT has just come out a few months ago. Wait a years and you might find one used for MSRP.
JasonC

Or, go to your nearby Audi Dealer, order one, and in 4-6 months if you are lucky you can have a brand spankin new one.
Tom Boucher
