2005 TT Roadster with non functioning trunk light (side light or the two on the trunk lip itself) or glove box light.
Bulbs are good and fuse #38 for luggage compartment light and central locking is good.
Central locking works fine.
Any suggestion on where to start troubleshooting efforts.

As an update, I'm an idiot. The "two" trunk lights on the trunk lip are actually the licence plate lights and work fine once you actually turn the headlights on.
Never tried the headlights before tonight as I don't have any yet. The actual trunk light works fine.

Glove box light is out and its not the bulb so I will be diffing into that.

I may be wrong but I remember reading that the glove box light is only powered with the headlamps on?
Need to check mine to see if this is correct.

I've had no reason to even try the headlights as both were destroyed in the crash that led me to salvage this car
Glovebox light works perfect with the headlight on!
I didn't get an owners manual with this car and while roadster owners manuals are available on Ebay the $300 asking price is unreasonable.
