No more KamalTT, no more KamalZ4... KamalS2000 is the name now!

Hey guys, just thought I'd update you all since I still lurk these forums after selling my TT ~10 months ago and buying an '07 Z4 coupe 3.0si... well, as the story goes, I got into grad. school (PhD in biochem @ the Univ. of Missouri) and decided I'd try to cut down my monthly expenditures before I start doing research and living off of a meager stipend in the summer. Sold my Z4 coupe to a guy on bimmerforums and flew to Chicago the next morning to pick up this 2005 Honda S2000... New formula red on black, 18k miles, for $18k.
I'm a sports car junkie and just had to make sure I got something that was fun, fast, reliable, easy to work on, and with aftermarket support (something the Z4 lacked).
I'm all over the S2000 forums now (s2ki.com) and I'm glad to say that there's plenty of Steve Schwings and Jeff Bipes doing crazy things to their cars and offering products to fill the demand. This car is FUN... so far I've added an AEM v2 intake, Team Voodoo shift ****, Modifry (think Schwing!) dash bracket with nuvi and iphone mounts, and smoked side markers... all for the fraction of what aftermarket goodies cost on Audis/BMWs... I've got plans for a few more subtle mods in the future... god its an addiction!

You'll love that car... NFR AP2 goodness. S2KI is an awesome forum. Just popped
on and there were 1353 users online. Excellent resource!

Gruppe-S has some cool stuff but they kinda suck at customer service.

What the heck? From a Z4 to a s2k? Just kidding
I've always loved the S2000. Drove one, but not much trunk space. Drove great too. Didn't have a chance to hit the magical cam position though.

lol... you'd be surprised at some of the bimmerforum guys...
I'm now officially a "ricer"... alot of the guys there have things lodged up their asses and can't understand why I'd want an S2000.

I had a 3.0si coupe.. not an M...
If I had an M I would have lived in a shoebox and dealt with the lack of money. The Z4 3.0si coupe was great, ample power, amazing handling, incredibly comfortable, incredibly sexy design...
However, the electric assisted steering SUCKED (zapped all the road feel) and the stock run flat tires also sucked. The Z4M coupe... hydraulic steering, no run flats, etc...
Once I get out of school I might look to purchase a Z4M coupe, for now tho, im happy with my S2k!
