Default Is it normal for me to be overheating?

When I drive in warm weather(80 degree), my water temp would go up 1 notch, sometimes 1 1/2 notches. Is that normal? It never did that before and recently started doing this. My dash has recently been replaced as well, if that means anything.

Sounds funny. Could be sensor reporting error and not truely overheating, but get it checked out.

1 notch, then right back to norm is the norm for me.

Default Is this while drving at speed, or stopped at a light

It seems to be normal if you stop and idle for a bit, but it should drop back down to the middle line once you get going again.

Default You, probably not. The TT, maybe.

Mine does that, although only when stopped/idling.

Might want to get it looked at anyway--can't hurt, and it may be something more than just a temporary fluctuation. Cheers!

Default I am seeing the same thing, Actually saw it hit the notch before the end...

I put in Watter Wetter, not seem much difference yet, but hoping thats because it has not circulated all the way throught.

Default HERE is the thing.....It sometime does it in 60 degree weather...

And it never did this before I replaced the dashboard(fuel gauge problem). I live in a place that never gets really hot and I'm worried that at 60-80 degrees, i'm already moving up 1 notch. What if its 90-100? I'll call my dealer and ask them about it.

Oh yeah, it doen't always do it in stop and go traffic. Its just completely unpredictable....

Default Did you do any modifications around or with the radiator?

After my FMIC, my temp gauge reads a half mark higher than norm but stays that way consistently so no big deal for me.
I hope your dealer is friendly, because most likely they will say its within tolerances and its OK.

Default Nothing has change since the dealer replaced the dash. I looked around for things that might be

blocking the radiator, but nothing there. I might have to add Water Wetter to see if that helps.
