Nuespeed short shifter
#5
Someone here did....Jchen? and reported....>>
Stiff and notchy. LLtek is advertising the new B&M who makes a nice product. One alternative I just tried which shortened the throw noticeably was to cut the shift stalk 1/2 inch (leaving some thread if you want to go back to stock) and installing a MOMO ****. The MOMO has a deep hole which mounts far down on the shift stalk. Works and feels great for $0.00 cept for the ****. I'll post pics as soon as my boot comes in and I finish the install. Others here have done it and posted pics.

FWIW, I just talked to Shawn at Neuspeed on Tuesday, and asked>>>
him if the short shifter was ready yet. He told me they're working on it, and it should be ready pretty soon. However, he knows my car is a 225, so I can't be sure the status of shifters for the 180.

I don't think UUC makes a short shifter for the TT. Which is too bad because>
they make a great short shifter. The product quality is excellent. If they come up with one, Strat should have it.
