Bracketracer

So I get a call from a friend of mine telling me that there is a street rod cruise night tonight. This was around 4:30, so I figured what the hell, jumped into the yellow Panoz, stopped home for a bit and headed way out west of town to some burger joint.

Ok, so far, so good. On my way back, I'm cruising along this 4-lane road. I'm in the left lane doing about 25-30, right after I went through an intersection. I look in the opposite lane of traffic coming at me which is still mostly stopped for the light that I just went through. I see this F150 coming up to the group, and there they are in the truck.....all staring straight at the Panoz. In the next second......WHAM!.....plowed into the car ahead of it. I figured there were enough witness back at the scene anyway, so I keep going.

Now.....this is where it gets freaky. I'm stopped at a light, 3 cars back of the intersection. I'm in the middle lane of a 3-lane road now. The light is about to turn green, and all of a sudden, I see the passenger side door  of this Accord open in the left lane(1st car at light). He goes over to the drivers side door of the 1/2 ton Ram truck next to him and starts yelling at the driver and reaching in the truck. Meanwhile, the light is green, and I'm now searching frantically for my digi-cam and cell phone, which happen to be in the trunk since there is no room in a Panoz for such things;-) Anyway, the driver of the Dodge gets out of his truck and slams the Accord guy against the Honda. One other guy gets out of the back of the Honda and they both start beating on this poor guy! I've never seen anything like this in my entire life! It didn't last long, and then the two guys jump back into the Accord and take off. Meanwhile, the rest of the traffic starts going around the scene!!! What the hell is with people??? Anyway, I jump over to the left lane, hit the hazards, point to the people behind me to go around and stop to help the guy out. He didn't seem too bad off, just a cut under his left eye. I gave him my business card and told him to call me tomorrow, or have the Sherrif call, as I would be glad to be a witness. At least I did have the presence of mind to get the plate number and very thorough description of the car while all of this was happening.

What the hell is wrong with people????

I'm so sick of these f***ing bangers thinking that they can run around and do **** like this with a total disregard for anyone else!!!
