Has anyone besides me made lots of travel plans since 9-11? I have and have NO FEAR about terrorism. Perhaps I'm naive or stupid, but I love travel and the deals are amazing.

11-17 Carribean Cruise 1 week
12-25 Copper Canyon train adventure one week in Northern Mexico (Chihuahua to Los Moches)
04-01-02 Going to Maine to visit close friend
06-22-02 Three weeks in Puerto Vallarta to see close friends

Let me on those planes, can't wait! I hope others are doing the same. Do tell....

probably the most trouble-free, four flights I've had in a long time. Had three seats wide to myself on every leg of the trip...up go those armrests, get out the pillow and a blankie and read and snooze..it was great. Think we should feel empowered to fly now...safer than ever and passengers are ready to hop on anything that moves the wrong way...except for seeing machine guns at the Westchester County, NY and Reno Airports, it was a cinch. Also don't mind the one carry on rule...saves you from getting smacked in the head by the lady trying to stash all her worldly possesions in the overhead bin.

I am leaving tomorrow afternoon for a week and a half in Egypt for a planned vacation. Obviously, some extra caution is needed, but this is a great time to see tourist sites anywhere without the crowds.
