Default Off-topic but need answer ASAP...

... and it's Friday night so not many AW technical people online posting, if they're still at a computer they're probably working to get the h3ll out of there.

I've got a machine running Windows 2000 Server that has a machine running Windows NT Embedded as its client. If I upgrade the Windows 2000 Server machine to XP Professional, will I still have the terminal services capabilities to support the Embedded terminal? I need a firm answer that you're at least 90% sure of.

Thanks.

And for some Audi content, here's a picture of my old TT and the car I have on order...

Default Got the answer...

... seems I can install XP Pro and it comes with a single terminal server license.

Wish me luck.

Default correct- and you can NOT be logged in locally to use that license...

only one user at a time- locally or over TS. So just make sure you are logged off the box before you try to remotly connect

Default No, though they have several that are coming in by late spring.

I'm happy with where I am on the list.

Default Sorry...

... they were sold with the car.

They're great wheels, though. I recommend them highly.

Good luck finding a set.
