Default On and Off Topic: Never had a car that made me just want to go out and drive for

the pure pleasure of it. After two weeks of travel and stress, decided late this afternoon that I wanted away from people, phones, etc. Got in the car and headed I knew not where. Ended up in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. Getting away in the TT, even for half a day, is great R&R.

Was blessed with the most incredible sunset that my pathetic shot does no justice to at all...sorry, forgot to put the TT in the shot. The sun was a red ball of fire which you don't see here.

Default That's a beautiful picture Den...I need to drive more

The TT's been under cover for a week and I finally broke it out today, but only put about 15 miles on it. HArdly got it warm for gosh sakes. I'm hoping I can drive some tomrrow. A little top-down action.

Default Which is why I have 13k miles in 8 months...

and I don't even drive but 20 miles during the week!

And it is a lease, but with that great residual that Audi Fin gave be, I think I'll buy it at out.

Default I did that for a bit this evening. Just got back, in fact.

The only problem is there is nothing interesting to see here and there are no fun roads. After driving for well over an hour, I came across a few "twisties" that would be easily driveable in my Camry, and maybe 3 turns that I actually had to slow down for. That wouldn't be so bad if there was something besides corn on each side of the road. I so need to move to Colorado...Then again, if I do that, I'll probably be broke from buying gas 5 times a week.

Default :-( I found incredible twisties....my new favorite was the road the picture

was taken on...Dorwin Hill Road....so great -- up, down, sharp left, sharp right and great pavement as well. Lived in the Midwest for seven years....it is pretty flat. Move West young man.
