I'm pretty sure it's the same. Audi calls their RS6 a bi-turbo...it's got two turbos.

Default Ok, there is a true twin turbo setup and there is an inline twin turbo setup.

S4 has twin turbos as in both turbos are the same size and pressure from both is equal. The inline setup (supra I belive has one of thouse) is using a smaller turbo followed by a bigger turbo. Smaller turbo compensates for lack of boost at low RPM from the bigger turbo. This setup is sometimes called bi-turbo, but wording is not as important as the actual idea. I've heard people refer to the inline setup using many different terms, but I've never heard anyone call twin turbo anything but that.
