But I think my Driver Info Center screen saved my hide. I was on my way to drop someone off at the Airport and I noticed that I had about a quarter tank left. After a "spirited ride" there and back which certainly burned through a good 3 gallons at least, my gauge was still in exactly the same spot. Peculiar, I thought, and scrolled through the choices on the info display. Sure enough, the "miles left in tank" number was zero. Naturally, I was nowhere near a gas station, so I drove to the closest one as economically (i.e., no boost) as possible. I needed 16.27 gallons... I must have been running on fumes. I know there have been some posts recently about bad tank sensors or whatever, so I'll have to do some reading tonight. I don't remember anyone saying that their gauge worked normally until it hit 1/4 tank though. Think it's the same problem?
